Qudus Online is an online school and madrasa dedicated to teaching Arabic reading foundations, Qur’an memorization, Qur’an recitation, Tajweed, and the fundamentals of Islamic knowledge. The institute is based in Hargeisa and was established in early 2014. Qudus Online is registered with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments.
2. Where is Qudus Online located?
The main office of Qudus Online is located in Hargeisa. However, the institute serves Somali communities living abroad, wherever they are in the world, through its fully online learning system.
3. How do students study at Qudus Online?
All learning at Qudus Online takes place online. Students attend their lessons through audio and video sessions using platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Telegram.
4. Is Qudus Online only for children and families, or also for adults?
Qudus Online provides education for two main groups: Adult learners, and Children and families.
5. Are the classes group-based or private?
Classes at Qudus Online are delivered in a one-to-one format. This means that one student, or one family, is assigned to one teacher who gives them dedicated learning time and personal attention.
6. How much time is given to each student?
The lesson duration depends on the program or class type selected by the student or parent. Flexible Time Classes: the teacher calls the student according to the student’s scheduled time. Fixed Time Classes: the student receives only the selected lesson duration, such as 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or more.
7. What is the management and operational structure of Qudus Online?
Qudus Online has a clear administrative and educational system made up of the following departments: General School Management, Registration and New Student Assessment Department, Academic Management, Curriculum and Examination Department, and Finance Department.
8. How does Qudus Online monitor student progress and reports?
Teachers submit both daily and monthly reports. Parents also receive regular progress updates. Students who require special follow-up receive monthly progress reports, while students with regular progress receive reports every three months.
9. How are exams and academic assessments handled?
Qudus Online has three main types of exams: Exams taken when a student completes a specific course or program, Term exams conducted every six months, and Practice or trial exams conducted by teachers.
10. Does Qudus Online provide certificates?
Yes. Qudus Online provides recognized certificates that include a reference number, ID, and QR code, including Completion certificates for specific sections, Qur’an certificates or Ijaazah, and Completion certificates for the fundamentals of Islamic studies program.
11. Who does Qudus Online serve?
Qudus Online serves Somali communities living abroad, including both adults and children, especially those who may not have access to nearby Qur’an schools or mosques.
12. Where are the teachers based?
Qudus Online teachers are based in Hargeisa and Egypt.
13. Are female teachers available?
Yes. Qudus Online has both male and female teachers with strong skills and experience.
14. Do the teachers speak English?
Yes. Teachers at Qudus Online are required to speak Somali, Arabic, and English so they can effectively teach and support students from different backgrounds.
15. What experience do the teachers have?
Qudus Online teachers have strong teaching experience. A teacher must have at least five years of experience before joining the institute, and receives continuous training.
16. Is Qudus Online free?
No. Qudus Online is a paid online learning institute with a monthly fee.
17. How much does it cost per student?
The monthly fee starts from $35 per student. If a student chooses additional lesson time or a fixed-time class, the price may vary.
18. Is registration free?
Yes. Registration at Qudus Online is free. New students receive a 3-day trial period before paying the monthly fee.
19. Do families with multiple students receive a discount?
Yes. Qudus Online offers discounts for families with three or more students.
20. How can school fees be paid?
Fees can be paid through the student system using Mastercard, Visa, or Amex, or through money transfer services like PaySii, Dahabshiil, WorldRemit, Taaj, and others.
21. What subjects and programs does Qudus Online teach?
The main areas include: Qur’an Reading Foundations, Qur’an Studies (memorization, recitation, Tafsir), Fundamentals of Islamic Studies, and special courses like Arabic language and Somali language.
22. How does Qudus Online track student learning and progress?
Once a student begins a course, the school management, teacher, parent, and student can all follow the student’s learning level, progress, and reports using a structured learning system.
23. How do I register or start studying at Qudus Online?
